The General Directorate of Taxes, Businesses: “Here are the distinctive elements that legal tax employees testify to”
The Tax Administration has identified certain individuals who deceive businesses by presenting themselves as tax employees, although they are not employed in the structures of the Tax Administration.
We clarify to the taxpayers and the public opinion that the employees of the Tax Administration exercise their functional duties, in implementation of the tax legislation in force, being identified in subjects with the elements as follows:
- Identification badge (First name/Last name/Photo/Job position/Directory name)
- The work order signed by the head of the relevant Directorate
- Distinctive uniforms with the inscription: Tax Administration.
The Tax Administration calls on all taxpayers to be careful if they are faced with suspicious persons who do not have the elements as above, not to allow them to enter the business premises and to report immediately to the communication channels of the Tax Administration:
