The Albanian translation of IFRS 16 for “Rent” is approved

FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE ALBANIAN TRANSLATION OF THE CHANGES IN THE INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL REPORTING STANDARD (IFRS) 16, “RENTS”

In the services of article 3, point 4 and point 5, of law no. 25, date 10.5.2018, “On accounting and financial statements”, of the decision of the Council of Ministers no. 505, date 17.7.2019, ” For the approval of the internal regulation of the organization and operation of the National Accounting Council”,

ORDER

1. Announcement of changes in the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 16, “Rents”.
2. Amendments to IFRS 16, “Rents”, published in September 2022, will be applied to reporting periods that occurred on January 1, 2024, but it is allowed to be earlier provided that appropriate explanatory notes are provided.
3. This order enters into force after publication in the Official Gazette.
